Winter Sale Dates Announced + Podcasts

Wargame Design Studio is pleased to announce our Winter Sale! It will run  from December 15th, 2023 until January 3rd, 2024 at 10 PM Eastern Time, USA.

All games that have been out longer than 12 months will be reduced 25% (to $29.95). Only four titles of our 111 will not be included in that:

Philippines '44

Great Northern War

Orel '43

Thirty Years War

In addition to the discount per title, you can also take advantage of a further 20% discount if you make a purchase of $199.00 or more at one time. This discount is Automatic and will be applied as soon as you cross the $199 threshold - and this discount will be taken off the contents of the entire order, no restrictions for any titles. The only exception is Gift Cards do not have their price discounted.

And since we're in the holiday season, don't forget Gift Cards! This allows the recipient to pick out a game and have it listed under their own account, so good for book keeping. Gift Cards do not expire, so they can be used during this sale, or at a future time. Visit this page to pick some up:

We have been exceptionally busy this year again, with lots of new content coming out. Remember, for all titles that get updated, the installers in the Store include the latest update, so no further patching is necessary. For existing owners you can login to your Store account here: https://wargameds.com/account/

In addition to the Sale announcement we want to highlight a couple of Podcasts we have been on recently, and a written interview - in case you missed then:

WDS Interview at Tally-Ho Corner - October 31st, 2023

No Dice, No Glory: WDS Podcast with David Freer - November 8th, 2023

Armchair Dragoons: WDS Podcast with Rich Hamilton - December 8th, 2023

If you have any questions about a game or series you can write us at Helpdesk@wargameds.com - or you can head over to the WDS Forum and ask your fellow gamers for their opinions.

See you at the Sale in one week!

Excellent interviews. Love how Rich discusses why they wont put their games on steam till a certain level of quality insurance that will capture the biggest market. Can’t believe that Armchair Dragoon guy suggested that they need to stop making a 3D mode. The 3D mode is why I buy the games. If not I would just play 80s war games with NATO Counters. The New updated graphics are amazing. Mix that with what the mod community puts out. Very great!

David’s interview brings an interesting insight how he makes games.

If you put the hints on new projects being worked on in the podcasts together it looks as if we are in for interesting times in the next couple of years. 4 new series split between the 19th Centuary and pre 16th Centuary and that is quite apart from what is coming down the track in terms of new titles for existing series. It will be interesting to see how much more information is released in any end of year “Looking Forward” news update.
