Sword & Siege + Musket & Pike Updates

Today we bring you yet another round of updates for the Sword & Siege and Musket & Pike series of games. It is not our intent to keep these coming so closely together, but when bugs appear that are of a significant nature we must squash them. And when that happens it also picks up other development that had been on going, so this round brings both bug fixes and enhancements.
Before pressing on further though, we want to highlight that American Revolutionary War goes on sale today, July 3rd, on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4671050/American_Revolutionary_War/
If you already purchased it, a free Steam Key can be found in your Store Account. Keys will also be issued for all future purchases.
Additionally, Steam Keys have been added in for other games that are close to release up there:
War of the Austrian Succession
Thirty Years War - to be announced July 10th.

Ok, let's take a couple of minutes and look at what's included in this round of updates.

You'll notice the bulk of the new enhancements are geared towards the development side of things. To facilitate the work of scenario design, and to in turn increase the quality of the finished product. We never stop pushing the bar to make our products better...
The last item will be important for Company Level game play. You now have an 8 hex radius to work with for Supply Wagons at the smaller scale instead of 5.
Then we have a variety of bug fixes from situations that have come up since the last round of updates went out...
You'll also note that the Philadelphia campaign has been expanded a bit.
So this 4.06.3 update is being released for the following 4 titles today:
ARW is an Update. The other three titles will require full new installs though. This is for several reasons:
TYW has had a complete overhaul of its sounds, background tracks and music. WAS, GNW & Vienna are moving to PNG graphics, and all titles are moving to our new License Key system of activation. Just like for Steam Keys, your previous serial numbers have been replaced with your new license key. So you'll grab that from your Store Account when you go to do a new clean install.
Note: Great Northern War includes three new scenarios on The Battle of Stanilesti - when Charles XII of Sweden, driven from Russia, took refuge under Ottomans after the defeat at Poltava.
Further Note: Vienna 1683 was originally planned to be part of this, but a problem remains with it's activation routine, so it will be released at a later date.
The remaining two titles in the M&P series are slated to get their updates sometime during the month of July, assuming all goes well.

Then we have the Sword & Siege series... many of the changes applied here as well, but then we had several that were specific to this engine:

As is our usual practice, the 1st Expansion Pack for Crusades Book II is now an integral part of the game as well.
While all titles in this series had previously moved to PNG graphics, all titles are now moving to our new License Key system of activation. Accordingly a new clean install is needed for each one.

If you have been keeping pace with the recent updates then you can continue an on going game with these changes.
However, if you are behind a few versions then it is best to complete your on going games before you move to these new versions.
For the newly updated games, you will want to complete your existing game first, then move to the newer version. For clarity those titles would be:
- War of the Austrian Succession
- Great Northern War
- Vienna 1683
As always, if you have questions just drop us a line at the Help Desk and we'll clear things up.

I was hoping for Seven Year War updates. Game needs love.
