During the mid '80's, the Cold War reached a boiling point as the ideologies of communism and capitalism were in their most confrontational posture. One spark on the world scene would be all that it would take to ignite these powerful military forces and send then crashing into each other across the only thing that stood between them in Germany, the Fulda Gap!
Fulda Gap '85 includes 94 Scenarios – covering all sizes and situations, including a solo tutorial scenario plus specialized versions for both head to head play and vs. the computer AI.
The master map (136,258 hexes) covers the entire area the Rhine River bend in the west, Denmark in the north, and Berlin in the east,
The order of battle files cover the Nato and Warsaw Pact forces that would have participated in the campaign with other formations added in for hypothetical situations.
Order-of-Battle, Parameter Data and Scenario Editors which allow players to customize the game.
Sub-map feature allows the main map to be subdivided into smaller segments for custom scenario creation.
