Dien Bien Phu includes 72 Scenarios – covering all sizes and situations, including specialized versions for both head to head play and vs. the computer AI.

Included are 20 unique maps ranging in size from 780 hexes to 71,400 hexes.

The Order of Battles include French and Viet Minh soldiers.

Unit component, Order of Battle and Scenario Editors which allow players to customize the game.

Map & Sub-map editors allowing map creation and any of the included maps to be "chopped" up into smaller segments for custom scenario creation.

Dien Bien Phu provides multiple play options including play against the computer AI, Play by E-mail (PBEM), LAN & Internet "live" play, and two player hot seat.

A range of engagements, Dien Bien Phu covers the period of 1946 - 1954 when a polyglot force of Moroccans, Senegalese, Algerians, Legionnaires, Vietnamese, Thos and others under the auspices of the French sought to retain France's hold on Indochina and were opposed by the nationalist communist forces of the Viet Minh.
